I was planning on putting up a free classified ads site so I searched for some open source classified ads script. After some research, I decided to try open classifieds and osclass. Open classifieds has a more matured script with lot's of feature but osclass has a better UI and better documented. I like the wordpress like menu for the admin as well.
After some playing with the two scripts I decided to use osclass because it's codebase is more organized and would make it easier to extend. See it in action => Buy and Sell Philippines
